Waiver Compliance Issues

by | Apr 30, 2020

The Health Ethics Trust is pleased to continue its series of free briefings on compliance issues related to the COVID-19 crisis. This briefing is unlike its predecessors in that it treats its topic, CMS waivers and OIG policies, in detail. We know that compliance officers are struggling to keep up with the waivers and to advise their organizations appropriately. A particular area of concern is unwinding relationships formed under the waivers once the public health emergency expires. This guidance document is prepared with the support of Lynn Barrett, Esq., CHC, CCP a former CCO who speaks at many Trust programs. If you need help beyond this guidance in navigating the waivers, advising your organization on waivers, or reconciling the waivers with state laws, contact us at 703-683-7916 or info@healthethicstrust.com for help.
