Learn from Proven Compliance Practices! Deadline extended…..

The Best Compliance Practices Forum has been the compliance event of the year since 1995 when it was founded by the Health Ethics Trust and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then 218 Best Practices have been recognized and shared with the compliance community.

Best Compliance Practices must meet the following criteria – more information is available at the Best Practices web site Best Compliance Practices:

1. When was the practice first implemented? Has there been enough time to test it?

2. Is there evidence that the practice works?

3. Is it different from practices at other like organizations?

4. Can Forum attendees learn from the practice?

In addition to 8 to 12 Best Practices, the Forum features national compliance experts including regulators, enforcement officials and leading compliance experts.

The submission deadline for Best Practice nominations was August 15 and many Best Practices have been nominated. These practices are reviewed by an independent panel of working compliance professionals most of whom represent past Best Practice awardees. If you wish to submit a Best Practice nomination but missed the deadline, the panel often approves brief deadline extensions. In this case, the panel will accept submissions prior to September 15. However. submissions received before the August 15 deadline will be priority reviewed.

Winners must attend the Forum and present their practice.
