Organizational Membership
Organizational Membership in the Health Ethics Trust represents an organizational commitment to ethical and legal conduct. Unlike other the memberships of others, ALL employees of a member organization may participate in HET programs and access HET resources. Members direct HET’s service activities including educational programs, research, and educational liaison activities through a variety of committees.
No other organizational membership offers as broad an array of benefits as the HET Organizational Membership. Membership benefits include priority participation in member programs, audio/web conferences, access to HET’s Benchmark Resources, access to members only section of HET web site, peer consulting, reduced tuition for all courses and publications, reduced fee for certification application and renewal.
HET offers two distinct levels of Organizational Member – Premium and Standard, which are outlined below.
Standard Organizational
Membership- All employees of the member organization receive priority participation and reduced tuition in all Health Ethics Trust education programs.
- Periodic Compliance Briefings and Compliance Commoner newsletter sent to an unlimited number of employees.
- Assistance with compliance issues on a casual consulting basis by email or telephone.
- Access to the Trust’s peer consulting process. When an issue is technical or an organizational member seeks additional guidance. the Trust convenes a peer consulting panel to assist the member.
- Members Only section on the Health Ethics Trust web site including current Best Practices Forum presentations and selected past presentations.
- Free access to the Trust’s own Benchmark Resources for all employees of organizational members. Licenses for use of these resources is discounted.
- Free or reduced fee participation for all HET audio conferences.
- Waived application fees for individual certification as a CCP or CCE and reduced application fees for re-certification. Waved applications fees for Best Practices submissions.
- Discounts on special products such as the Best Practice Standards Manual, other publications, videos, training materials and other resources. These discounts are made available to all employees of a member organization on special products such as the Best Practice Standards Manual, other publications, videos, training materials and other resources.
- Up to one day of educational services to be delivered by a senior member of the Health Ethics Trust staff on site or remotely. (Does not include travel expenses.) This is often in the form of delivery of one of our one-day courses such as Conducting Compliance Investigations or the Program Assessors Course. However, members may also choose specific program topics to meet their needs.
- Health Ethics Trust staff members will research issues pertaining to the operation of a compliance program. As examples, the Trust has researched vendors in different compliance program areas, such as background checks and conflict of interests reporting on behalf of members.
